Never forget when we were driving into a tornado in the Texan desert out of Marfa and towards Lubbock. Our plan was to drive as far as we can until we can’t, after so many challenges along the way.. against all odds we made it in one piece. The most incredible day which ended with Jackson riding a bike for the first time under a beautiful Texas sunset. crazy hearts across America was the most epic adventure, I wouldn’t trade it for the world .. I remember the night we went into record this live version of Mercy. We found an abandoned Substation in the middle of Nashville. The room was bare and cold, cobwebs everywhere… but it had that little bit of magic. This night we recorded the entire album live acoustic. A night I won’t forget.
